"Muffy," a 10-year-old beagle/Sheltie mix, was adopted out as a 5-month-old pup back in mid-2000. She was recently returned to ASL because her caretakers were negatively affected by the current economy and had to unexpectedly move. She is an absolute sweetheart and would make an excellent walking partner or just a listening companion to any loving senior single or couple. Because she was returned to us as very obese, we have had her on a strict diet and her food intake must be continually monitored. It has already paid off, as her weight is down to under 30# now; otherwise she has no health issues. "Muffy" is immaculately housetrained, is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, on heartworm preventive and microchipped. |
