Barely a year old, little “Chico,” a blond Chihuahua mix, has been tossed around more than a basketball at and NBA finals game. First rescued from a kill shelter in Indiana, he was then given to someone else who then thought they’d make some money and sell him on Craig’s List. He apparently escaped from his next caretaker and was thankfully found by a responsible Good Samaritan, who tracked down the original rescuer from his rabies tag. Unable to take him back, she gratefully gave him up to ASL. He’s a bit thin yet due to his inconsistent care, but he’ll make that up quickly. “Chico” has an outstanding, loving and playful personality, gets along excellently with other dogs and cats, is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped. Both house-and crate-trained, “Chico” will be a great buddy and companion. |
